I am an artist and art teacher with many years of experience, in both painting and selling my own work, and running art classes in Liverpool, Maghull and Merseyside, including life-drawing. I also run exhibitions and other social events so that members can meet like minded people, visit art galleries such as the Walker, Liverpool and the Tate and exhibitions which will help you to mature as an artist, and also give you the opportunity to exhibit your own work. It doesn't matter if you've never done art before, or if you've been doing it for a number of years and yet still feel frustrated or that you feel you'd like to learn more.

Art classes are an ideal way of learning how to paint and draw. The art courses that I run, including life drawing, are intended not just to teach you the subjects, but to fully involve you in the artistic world. Remember, you are under no pressure and you get from it whatever you want to take away. I often find that people on my art courses like to have access to other interesting art related events, like visiting galleries and viewing exhibitions. Also, they like to see their own work up on a wall in an art gallery, or in an exhibition. I help run an artists’ cooperative gallery in Southport, and this allows us the opportunity to show members’ work in a professional setting.
